Ceramics

I use commercial low-fire and wild clay bodies. Most of my pieces are food-safe but pottery is tricky and I’m still experimenting with glazes to find the most durable outcomes. I create and fire everything out of my home studio. My kiln is an old gal named Rosie who had a long life in a high school art room, followed by a different home pottery studio before making her way to me. I create in small batches and usually fire once a month, producing just a few finished pieces each batch. I’m a tiny-operation hobby potter, so unfortunately I’m not equipped to ship pieces safely. Instead, I sell my work locally a few times each year through online sales, markets, and local shops.
