Fundy!
There are few things that make me happier than rural drives on rainy, foggy days.
Thursday’s day-trip out to Fundy National Park with Meagan was a magical introduction to the famous East-coast scenery and we had the park pretty much to ourselves. We explored a few stops along the iconic coast and made our way to a family-run lobster restaurant right on the water in Alma. One of the things I love about Meagan is our mutual love for mosey-paced adventuring and that we’ll both admit when we’re ready to head back to home base. All-in-all we spent about five hours on this exploration and I jumped in lots of puddles along the way. Call me childish but I absolutely love a good puddle splash!
The short day gave us both a much-needed chance to catch our breath before heading out for our bigger adventure the next day. We spent the evening watching a movie, packing up the cooler for our camping weekend, and went to bed smiling.
Next stop: Deer Island!
